A Fluid Groove 5-Piece born from the West Australian coastline, Blue Child Collective's easy-flowing, conscious song craft "evokes the gentle rhythms and roaring freedom of Australia’s seaside" (Happy Mag).
Back in Aotearoa as a duo for 5 shows only to share their new album, catch Dan & Emjay of Blue Child Collective at The Jam Factory Tauranga on *THURSDAY 28th MARCH* for an evening of feel-good folk & funk tunes.
Fronted by Dan White, an enthusiastic collaborator, multi-instrumentalist and fingerstyle artisan, this is music with purpose. From his thought-provoking lyrics to the Collective’s engaging live performances, “Blue Child Collective is connecting people through music” (Scenstr), creating waves that have earned them a recent nomination for West Australian Music’s Best Regional Act and support slots for The Cat Empire, Sticky Fingers, Xavier Rudd, Sola Rosa and many more.
Fresh off an Australian tour as a 5-piece to promote the release of their 4th record, “Wake Up To The Sound”, the duo's stripped back acoustic show will feature many unrecorded rearrangements of tunes from their entire back catalogue.
With a new documentary soon to be released and the full band set to join for their next visit, this opportunity catch Dan & Emjay performing in an intimate setting is not to be missed!
