Apply now to be part of “Red Bull Fresh Produce - Straight From The Studio” a weekend only market style exhibition on November 24 -25, 2018.
A joint effort between Red Bull NZ, Shea O’Neill (Sideroom.com) and Ross Liew (Cut Collective), they will present an impressive survey of work by over 100 artists within the Red Bull NZ HQ in Grey Lynn, Auckland. It’s a massive space and they have been given free reign to fill it. The more work the better, so clear out your studio and apply now!!

OPPORTUNITY: 4 Plinths 7 Sculpture Award - Forecourt of Te Papa Tongarewa, the Museum of New Zealand, Wellington.
Submissions due 2 November 2018
This call for submissions is to facilitate the selection of the seventh commission, to be installed in February 2020. The selected artist will receive an award of $40,000 to produce a new work for the site. Through the quality of the artworks installed in previous rounds, the growing awareness and reputation of the project, and the prominence of the site which is one of the most visited in New Zealand, this project provides a prestigious opportunity for established and emerging artists alike.
OPPORTUNITY: Massey University Announces six $10,000 Māori and Pacific Creative Arts Research Study Awards

The College of Creative Arts at Massey University is offering six $10,000 study awards for Māori and Pacific designers and artists to begin a postgraduate masters qualification in design, fine arts or Māori visual arts in 2019.
The College, based on the Wellington campus, is committed to supporting the academic excellence of Māori and Pacific students and creating a learning environment where their advancement is supported.
OPPORTUNITY: Molly Morpeth Canaday Award - Painting and Drawing 2019
Get creating creatives it's Molly Morpeth Canaday Award time again. Their vision is to encourage and celebrate the development of painting and drawing on a national level and reward artists who create outstanding works.
This non-acquisitive award is highly regarded and dedicated to excellence across contemporary and traditional painting genres. The Award has developed over 28 years and sits credibly within the New Zealand arts community.

OPPORTUNITY: THE Incubator Xmas Boxes Project

We are sprucing up the tired old Christmas presents that were used in the past to decorate the CBD.

OPPORTUNITY: Rising Star Competition 2019
One of Bay of Plenty Symphonia’s objectives is to encourage young musicians - both in playing instruments and appreciating orchestral music. The community orchestra does this by dedicating one of their concerts each year to ‘youth music’. In alternate years the Symphonia traditionally performs a concert programme designed with youngsters in mind, or runs a ‘Rising Stars’ competition for secondary school level students.

Talented students of STEPS Performing Arts will delight audiences of all ages with their production and invite you to escape to “Central Park Zoo” and join them on a transatlantic musical adventure.
As with previous productions of STEPS they will be supporting ‘HOMES of HOPE’ and sponsor vulnerable children to come and watch a performance, which gives the children access and an opportunity to watch a musical.
