A practical guide to learning the fundamental skills needed for acrylic painting guided by an awe-inspiring NZ Contemporary Maori Artist and Incubator resident tutor - Arohanoa Mathews!
Arohanoa will guide the most inexperienced to a finished painting that is exhibition-worthy. You can achieve an exceptional piece of Contemporary Maori Art with her help; you'll be rewarded with a great sense of achievement and build amazing connections with others in The Incubator's relaxing Artery space.
Arohanoa graduated with a Degree in Visual Communications Design and Fine Arts at Unitec, Auckland and has recently returned home to NZ. Her 20+ years’ experience teaching art and years of Exhibiting both here and overseas, has marked a significant stamp on her most recent paintings focusing on her personal journey around the Maori term, ‘Mana Wahine’/’Women of Authority’.
